How to Fill Capsules Like a Pro
Share
Follow this simple guide to get a durable, leak-resistant seal every time. Once you’ve done it a couple of times, it’ll take just seconds.
1. Fill to the line
Remove the small top half of the capsule. Fill the larger bottom half with your medication—whether liquid, powder, or solid—leaving just a little space at the top. This “wiggle room” helps prevent spills when you close it.
2. Wet the Inside of the Cap
A touch of moisture helps the capsule halves bond securely. Use a drop of water—or if the capsules are for personal use, a quick lick works too. A bit wetter = a tighter seal.
3. Squeeze and Align
Hold both capsule openings gently between your fingers, pressing just enough to make them slightly oval. This creates a little air pressure inside, which strengthens the seal once closed. Align the two halves.
4. Press them all the way together
While still squeezing, push the top and bottom halves together until they snap into place. Slowly release your grip.
5. Double-Check the Seal
Run your fingers around the seam, lightly pressing as you go. This makes sure the capsule is fully sealed all the way around.
✅ That’s it! With your capsule properly sealed and stored inside your DPack, you’re ready to head out without leaks or mess.
